Story
Well, our dressage test went well at least to me it seemed to go well, at the start was a little tense and uptight but by the end, Dee was relaxed and listening perfectly. So we went back to our stable and I gave her a good groom and hosed her legs down to get ready for the showjumping course tomorrow, I gave her a bran mash with some chaff and a hay net for the night and turned myself in to bed. I was so tired but even more excited for the showjumping tomorrow.

I woke up before my alarm and jumped out of bed to find the sun just coming up and everyone else was just starting to wake up as well to get ready for the next day of competition, showjumping. The dressage was held in the sand arena yesterday and today the showjumping is held in the grass arena that the dressage warm up was in, Dee was very comfortable in there yesterday so I was hoping, yes hoping that all would go good and she wouldnt be spooky like she was when we first got here.

I walked into stables and down the aisle to where Dee was and to my surprise she was hanging her head out, waiting for me to give her breakfast to her. I fed her and filled her haynet up and while she was eating, I cleaned her stall out and prepared her tack for her class. I put out her pelham bridle as while she didnt pull my arms out yesterday, I didnt want to take a catch and have a rail down because I couldnt get her to listen, I prefer to have softer hands than make her mouth hard to the point where I need to get her re-mouthed again.

I got Dee ready after giving her a good groom and re-doing some of her braids and brushing her tail, I put her tack on and led her out to the sand arena where we would be warming up before our course. Our warm-up went well and before I knew it I was entering the arena, thats when all my nerves came up like a pit in my stomach, but I just took a deep breath and saluted to the judge to begin and off we went...
